The Truth about Brazilians

So I thought I'd clear up some confusion that the words "brazilian wax" can conjure up.  Now, I know that every therapist has their own definition of what a brazilian wax is and sometimes special names for different amounts of hair left; sphinx, vegas, full monty, around the world (it's possible I made that one up).  Personally I like to keep it simple: everything front and back removed - if you want to leave a little so you don't feel too "youthful" that's fine by me, but it's still a brazilian if I'm removing from the labia and backside.

Okay, so now that we have an idea of what a brazilian actually is, let's get to the important part - does it hurt?!  YES, yes it does and anyone who tells you different is either confused or has never had one.  Now with that said, is it unbearable?  Nope, not at all - it wouldn't be the most popular wax service I offer if it was that bad.  Everyone's pain tolerance is different, so if you have a lower tolerance (or, like myself, just not a big fan of pain) I highly recommend the numbing treatment (takes about 15 mins) prior to your waxing service and it works like a charm!
